General Description - From this page, you may chat with other users in the world. All WhatIfSports.com users will be able to view the chat, but only those in the world may post.

User - This is the WhatIfSports userid of the franchise GM who is posting.

Franchise - This is the franchise owned and operated by the user.

Date - This is the actual calendar date and time at which the post was made.

Message - This is the message already posted by a user. Messages are listed in reverse chronological with the most recent post at the top of the page. The most recent 25 posts will always be displayed,

New Message - To post a new message, first click in the white box under the "New message" heading, so you see a cursor. You may type as much text as you would like. The chat application will divide each post to fit the 255 character limit, while still maintaining correct order. Please be advised that profanity is prohibited and that inappropriate behavior in the forums may result in banning from the forums, the game or the site. Forum issues are dealt with on a case-by-case basis. To report offensive behavior, please contact customer support. When you have completed your post, please click "Post Message."

Clipboard - You can click the "paste" button to insert a link to an item you've previously added to the clipboard via any profile page or boxscore page. While it looks like gibberish when you paste it, it is displayed properly when you post the message.

Block/Unblock Users - You can block individual user's from appearing in your world chat by clicking on their user profile and then clicking the Block/Unblock link. If a user is blocked, his posts will appear as "-".
